Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) is expanding the National Skilled Trades campaign in 2023-2024 to include an Experiential Marketing (XM) tour across the country and an earned media push in addition to an advertising campaign.
The XM tour will offer hands-on opportunities to learn more about the skilled trades and job outlook for in-demand trades. Each event will include interactive screens and local tradespeople available to answer questions. Some locations will also include live demonstrations and stage appearances.
The tour will be set up in a mix of large and medium-scale events, career fairs and schools starting this fall:
