At Support Ontario Youth, our focus is infusing new life into the trades!

We are a federally-registered charitable organization dedicated to helping apprentices enter the trades. Support Ontario Youth works with local businesses to provide assistance for today’s youth throughout their apprenticeship journey. Here are a few ways we are supporting Ontario’s youth:

• Provide Financial Support – our financial assistance, bursaries and scholarships are all publicly available and go directly towards helping young men and women who show promise in approved industries to continue their education.
• Create Apprenticeship Opportunities – the tradespeople of tomorrow start as today’s apprentices. Finding and managing an apprenticeship is no easy task – which means fewer and fewer are entering the industry. By streamlining the process and providing shared apprenticeship opportunities, we encourage future growth and pave the way for the next generation of industry professionals. Help us fill in the gaps and short falls in the skilled-trades!
• Offer Valuable Experience – your donation will help young people get the training they need to become “job ready.” Apprentices have the ability to gain a strong foundation in their chosen trade with on-the-job training, make strategic connections by working and networking with employers, and gain real-life experiences working alongside those industry leaders.

With a donation of $1000, your out of pocket cost is only approximately $400 after tax credits!
