Students looking at skilled trades as a career now have some help to get started.

The new apprenticeship toolkit is intended to simplify the process by helping students gain an overall understanding of what is required to become an apprentice.

In addition, the support system will determine whether they meet the educational requirements to apply, help find an employer or sponsor and assist students in filling out their application forms and training agreements.

The toolkit is a collaboration between the Mohawk College Apprenticeship Community Hub (The Hub), Workforce Planning Hamilton (WPH) and Support Ontario Youth (SOY).
