Support Ontario Youth Announces Trades & Talent Connect 2026 Building Futures: One Connection at a Time

Support Ontario Youth (SOY) is excited to announce Trades & Talent Connect 2026, an in-person networking event connecting job seekers, apprentices, employers, and industry partners across Ontario’s skilled trades sector. The event is open to individuals aged 18 and older who are exploring careers in the skilled trades or considering a career change.

About the Event

Event: Trades & Talent Connect 2026
Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Location: Parkview Manor, 55 Barber Greene Road, North York, Ontario

Trades & Talent Connect 2026 also offers value for employers seeking to meet potential apprentices, network with other organizations, and gain insight into today’s skilled trades workforce. Free parking is available on-site, and complimentary bus transportation will run from Fairview Mall and Square One with return trips following the event.

“Trades & Talent Connect creates opportunities for meaningful connections,” said Melanie Winter, Executive Director of Support Ontario Youth. “By bringing together job seekers, apprentices, employers, and industry partners, we help individuals understand their options in the skilled trades while supporting employers looking to engage with motivated, emerging talent.”
