If you want to work in the trades the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities website may help you get started with information about apprenticeship options, choosing a career, and pathways to apprenticeship than can help you train for a career, and learn about certification requirements for your chosen career.  

Information available under the Employment Ontario tab can provide: 

  • an assessment of your skills and experience,
  • information about different careers and occupations,
  • local labour market, employment and training opportunities,
  • information about all Employment Ontario programs and services, as well as
  • advice about and referral information to other community services and support.
